About Us

Established in August 2013, Desert Crafts underwent a significant evolution from its origins as a curator of handicrafts for home and fashion accessories to its current status as a manufacturer and exporter of women's wear since 2015.

Desert Crafts' founder Swati, a design graduate, possesses extensive experience collaborating with apparel brands within the Indian retail sector and importers of apparel from countries like the US, the UK, Australia, Spain and France. Her expertise encompasses styling, trend analysis, color theory, and the creation of intricate prints and embroideries. She assumes responsibility for design conceptualization, product development, fabric and trim sourcing, as well as overseeing all aspects of production from initial planning to final packaging and dispatch. Furthermore, Swati adeptly manages crucial client relationships from inception through to enduring partnerships.

Over the years, Desert Crafts has attracted talented fashion and textile designers, garment technicians, merchandisers and production experts and a team of experienced tailors and artisans, several of whom have been working with us for numerous years. Desert Crafts' team works as a seamless extension of its clients' teams, thereby  nurturing a relationship of trust and mutual respect besides achieving the common goal of achieving efficient and high quality apparel production.
